Carolyn was born in California and is now based in San Francisco, USA. In the 90's she studied Media/Culture and History and became interested in approaches to documentary and the ways that history and reality are purposefully shaped and revised over time. This interest and questioning around the evolution of the representation of reality led her to photography.
