Pushkar ka Mela, or the Pushkar Fair, is an annual 5-day event that takes place in Rajasthan, India on the shores of the Pushkar Lake. Every year, the fair draws 200 thousand people who buy and sell livestock, and participate in various religious festivities. One of only a few temples that are dedicated to the creator-god Brahma sits on the edge of the lake, and it's common to see pilgrims bathing during religious happenings like this one.
